Rosehip oil is one of my favorite skin care oils, and it in both My Day and My Night. It’s a multi-purpose natural oil that has been used for centuries. Many consider it an anti-aging oil since it naturally contains trans-retinoic acid a precursor to vitamin A (retinol). It also contains vitamin E, vitamin C and lycopene; all powerful antioxidants that protects your skin from premature ageing. Rosehip oil is also a good source of essential fatty acids such as omega 3, 6 and 9, which is necessary for skin regeneration and healing. It’s also a gentle oil ideal for sensitive skin.
